After much anticipation, the stream restoration project at the Greens at Hamilton Run golf course is complete! The City of Hagerstown, owner and operator of this 9-hole course, is excited to announce the re-opening of the golf course on Monday, May 20. Operating hours for the course are 6:30am to dusk, 7 days a week. No tee times required.
As the course re-opens, landscaping will continue to grow and fill in the areas disturbed by the stream restoration project. Golfers should be aware of a few temporary alterations on the course.
The stream restoration project has affected both holes number 2 and 9 tee boxes. Both of these tee boxes will be temporarily moved to a new location, and hole number 2 will temporarily be a par 4 instead of a par 5. Golfers will now enjoy the new stream as a hazard flowing across hole number 2.
During the regrowth period, the City of Hagerstown and The Greens at Hamilton Run golf staff would appreciate if all cart paths and restricted access signs are followed by those playing the course. Golfers are asked to please stay out of areas clearly marked by fencing or signs.
The Greens at Hamilton Run is located at 2 South Cleveland Avenue in Hagerstown.
Season pass memberships are available to City and non-City residents. More information about the golf course can be found by calling 301-733-8630.
